He then takes his expedition idea to find a new route to India to spanish court in 1485 but there was no interest. He then took his idea back to court in 1492 and left August 3rd 1492 with 3 ships. on October 12th, he discovers Sans Salvidore and discovered the Arawaks, but he believes he is in Asia and believes he has discovered a new route there
