what is the difference between acute toxicity and chronic toxicity
acute is the immediate harm caused by exposure to a chemical substance, chronic is substances’s ability to cause harm over a longer period of time
what is the precautionary principle
asserts that when a substance is suspected of causing harm to worker, the public or the environment but here is no scientific consensus on the question, then those seeking to the substance must prove it is not harmful
