Naturalist who found evolution.
He is famous for his trips to the Galapagos Islands where he observed the adaptations of the organisms living there.
• Prior to Darwin, it was thought that the world was young and species did not change.

A
Organisms most fit to reproduce are selected by environment which results in adaptation of the population.
