cervix is a mucus plug
during pregnancy to prevent bacteria from entering
vagina
accepts the penis and semen during copulation
passageway for uterine secretions and acts as birth canal
mammary glands
produce milk
development of mammary glands
controlled by estrogen and progesterone (ovaries)
mammary glands are milk secreting cells gathered
around a duct which forms larger ducts
