Glands that are located posteriorly on both sides of the vaginal opening and are not usually visible
Bartholin glands
Glands located just posterior and adjacent to the urethral meatus on either side:
Paraurethral (Skene) glands

Tissue that shiny pink and continuous with the vaginal lining
Squamous epithelium
Opening of the cervix, marks the opening into the endocervical canal
Cervical os
Cervical area at risk for later dysplasia and is the area sampled with Pap smear
Transformation zone
