Purpose
The Fire Control System is a radar and optronic target acquisition and tracking system used IOT control and generate fire control solutions for the 57mm Gun and the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile systems.
Caps and Lims
Tracking Radar: 15.5-17.5 GHz J-Band.
CWI: 10-10.5 MHz X-Band.
Range: 40nm
Track by radar or video.
Memory Tracking if track quality drops below acceptable levels.
FC Director
Radar and sensor unit.
Used to track targets through radar or video and illuminate tracked targets for missile guidance via CWI.
Located on the Bridge Top and Hangar Top.
