Q

• FOIL:

A

A shortcut way to remember how to multiply when you have two binomials to multiply with each other. FOIL
means that you multiply as follows:
• First terms in each group multiply together.
• Outer terms in each group multiply together.
• Inside terms in each group multiply together.
• Last terms in each group multiply together.
Now, combine any terms you can. Usually, the result will be a trinomial.
