• Review: Using linear programming, you can determine the maximum and minimum value for a function within certain constraints (or inequalities). To do so, graph the system of inequalities and find the vertex points of that figure. Then plug these vertex points into the main equation. The greatest answer is the maximum of the function; the smallest answer is the minimum.
