A cognitive ability that allows people to understand that other people have different feelings, beliefs etc. from them. Mainly linked with empathy.
Aim [ Eyes test ]
o Whether the revised version would showcase the lack of theory of mind in people with ASD.
o Whether there was a correlation between AQ results and eyes test.
o Also if there are sex differences in people without ASD.
5 Hypotheses [ Eyes Test ]
o Participants with ASD will score lower on the eyes test than other groups.
o Participants with ASD will score higher on the AQ test.
o Females without ASD will score higher than their male counterparts.
o AQ and eyes test results will be negatively correlated.
O males in the control group will score higher than females in the ASD group.

Problems with the original study.
