Name all the endocrine glands!
Name all the hormones!
Tropic hormones
Hormones to release other hormones
Bleaching
They receptors respond to light through a process called bleaching. In this process a molecule of visual pigment absorbs a photon of visible light and there by chemically changes into a Nother compound that absorbs light less well or perhaps differs in its wavelength. Recovery: Rhodopsin is broken down and reassembled. Time-consuming and expensive
Photopic vision
Vision in well lit conditions. Provides for color vision and utilizes the retinas cones.
Scotopic vision
Vision under low light conditions. Cone cells are nonfunctional and your vision in low light is produced exclusively through rod cells.
