then you launch into the main body of the station.
the main body of the station
background about the organ or whatever e.g.:
the Heart is a pump that pumps blood all around the body. Because it’s a muscle, it requires a blood supply to provide oxygen to the muscle to make sure it pumps properly.
what happens in the disease:
When the heart doesn’t receive enough blood, it causes something similar to a cramp in the muscle, which is what gives you your chest pain. The pain can come on when you’re exerting yourself, because that’s when the heart is under the most stress and needs more oxygen than it’s getting. This pain is called angina
what is the process behind the disease
The vessels that supply the blood to the heart can become narrowed. This can restrict the amount of blood that gets to the heart
what can we do about it:
For management things you can do, things we can do
There are things that predispose you to getting angina, such as smoking, having high cholesterol, or being a bit overweight. So the things we’d ask you to do is to address those issues try to eat healthy, exercise, lose some weight and stop smoking.
We can give you a spray or a tablet that you put under your tongue for when you get that pain. This medication should help open up the vessels supplying your heart so that the heart can get enough blood.
We can also give you aspirin, a blood thinner, meaning
blood can get to the heart more easily
Statins tablets that lower the cholesterolreduces
the narrowing of the arteries.
There are more tablets we can use if those don’t work but thats something to think about in the future if these methods don’t work.
how to finish
