Do you know the difference between active marketing and passive marketing?
I don’t care… even if you don’t list this house with me, if you are going to sell it at any point in the future, it is critically important that you look at the different marketing approaches so you don’t get burned again, because you don’t want to put it back on the market to not have it sell, right?

There are 2 approaches to selling houses, an agent can put it in MLS, put it on the internet and pray that it will sell, which is what 99% of agents do. Or you can hire an agent that will go out and find a buyer for your house, which is what I do. That is what you’d expect your agent to do for you, isn’t it?

Why didn’t you sell it when it was listed?

If I can be completely honest, I didn’t even know that your house was for sale.

It’s not that I was ignoring your house, it’s just that right now there are 100’s of houses for sale in our multiple listing service, and since your agent didn’t contact me to let me know about your house, I didn’t know anything about it.
