the removal of metabolic wastes produced by the body (urea)

the functional unit of the kidney

A
glomerulus, bowman’s capsule, loop of henle and collecting duct

the passive diffusion of urea, salts, water and glucose from the glomerulus into the bowman’s capsule

the passive diffusion in which water and nutrients (glucose) are reabsorbed in the loop of henle

the active transport of larger molecules such as drugs and ions from blood into collecting duct and tubules
