What is excretion?
Excretion is the removal of wastes from the body.
What are the waste products of the lungs?
Carbon dioxide and water, the waste products of respiration.
What are the waste products of the kidneys?
Urea, salts and water.
What are the waste products of the skin?
Salts and water, excreted in sweat.
What organ excretes carbon dioxide and water?
The lungs

What is the function of the renal artery?
To carry blood rich in waste to the kidney.
What is the function of the renal vein?
To carry blood with wastes removed away from the kidney.
What is the function of the ureter?
To carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder.
What is the function of bladder?
To store urine before it is released from the body.
What is the function of the urethra?
To carry urine out of the body
What is the function of the kidneys?
To remove urea and other wastes from the blood and form urine
What big vein/artery carries blood to the kidneys?
The Aorta
