- Unilateral condition, both pec. major & minor are missing
- Atrophy of the mammary gland
- Absence of several ribs
- Hand on affected side is smaller & shows webbing b/t digits
Poland’s Syndrome
- Hereditary condition in which ossification is defective
- Clavicle is missing or abnormally formed
- Bilateral in most pt.
Cleidocranial Dysostosis
- Undescended scapula brought about by attachment to cervical vertebrae by either bone, cartilage or fibrous attachment
- Normally unilateral
Sprengel’s Deformity
Failure of the acromion process to fuse to the rest of the scapula

Breast caner: The tumors are of the ________ variety & usually arise from epithelial cells in the lactiferous ducts
Adenocarcinoma
- Benign tumors are much more common than cancerous growth
- the most common benign tumors are cyst
- These cyst are common after the menstrual periods of hormonal irregularities

Complete loss of muscular movement
Paralysis
Movement can be performed but is weak (incomplete paralysis)
Paresis
Partial or complete loss of sensation w/ or w/o loss of consciousness
Anesthesia
Loss of cutaneous sensation
Paresthesia
Injury to the upper roots (spinal nerves) of the brachial plexus
