• strength because it shows how adoption studies can used to research nature and nurture however research found a genetically aggressive child will seek out an aggressive environment, so people create their own nature by selecting an environment that appropriate to their nature, this is a limitation as it shows we cannot isolate in nature and nurture so we should adopt an interactionist approach
