What would you do if a Contractor approached you during the tender process and asked for an informal meeting at hopsitality?
I would politely decline, as i could be deemed a bribe and want the tender process to remain impartial and fair.
I would encourage the contractor to use the tender query process. Following the guidance set out in the JCT Tendering Practice Note.
Can you name one of the professional standards and how you comply with it?
Provide a high level of serve.
Fully understanding the Client’s brief/objectives before signing a full appointment with them
How would you respond if you were not in the middle of a tender process and they just wanted to catch up on future opportunities?
I would factor in the scale and proportionality.

What would you do if you discovered a conflict of interest?
Alert the Client as soon as I was aware of the Conflict of Interest and make them understand the impartiality that results from it.
