quinolone antibioitcs
e.g. ofloxaxin, levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin
broad spectrum
gram negative cover
quinolone antibioitcs - side effects
tendon damage and rupture, notably achilles tendon
low seizure threshold - caution in patients with epilepsy
complications
chronic pain chronic epididymitis testicular atrophy sub-fertility scrotal abscess
