usually post surgical and due to staph epidermis

- very painful
- very red eye
- decreasing vision

A
aqueous/ vitreous for culture

what is the treatment for endophthalmitis?
A
Intravitreal:
- amikacin
- ceftazimide
- vancomycin
and topical antibiotics
