1 dose. PO. R/o pregnancy. Destroys thyroid cells> hypothyroid. Stay away from babies for 24 hrs. Don’t kiss anyone for 24 hrs. Watch for thyroid storm (thyrotoxicosis and thyrotoxic crisis)- hyperthyroidism x 100. Could be rebound effect post-radioactive iodine.
