Decreased serum phosphate levels due to increased renal excretion of phosphate ions

A
Sodium retention and potassium excretion
ACTH production is not normally suppressed
Renin levels are low in contrast to secondary hyperaldosteronism that is caused by hyperactivity of the RAAS

A
Excess vitamin D can cause metastatic calcification of soft tissues, hypercalcaemia, and bone pains.
