1mg powder.
Pancreatic hormone which increases blood glucose by stimulating glycogenolysis predominantly within the liver.

Indicators of Glucagon?
A
- Hypoglycaemia where the patient cannot safely swallow food or glucose and IV access cannot be obtained.

- Known severe allergy

Dosing Regimes of Glucagon?
A
- 1mg IM, once for anyone greater than or equal to 5years
- 0.5mg IM, once for anyone less than 5 years
