Comes in 300mg tablets.
An anti-platelet aggregator with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Inhibits cyclooxygenase reducing the formation of prostaglandins and thromboxane.

- Myocardial Ischemia (MI)

Cautions of Aspirin?
A
- Known bleeding disorder
- Clinically Significant bleeding
- Known worsening of bronchospasm from a NSAID

Side Effects of Aspirin?

- Increased Bleeding
- Long term administration can lead to: indigestion, GI ulceration and GI bleeding

- 3rd trimester of pregnancy
