- are the surroundings safe?
- responsive?
- pinch check on traps and talk to them
- stabilize head if necessary (if they are lying in a limp manner, conscious or unconscious)
- airways and circulation done concurrently
- mouth guard?
- perform a visual and rapid palpatory scan for external bleeds
Call (what to do)
- 911
- location, situation, my name, if a bystander is doing it make sure they understand and will report back to you
- activate the EAP

- manage life threatening situation
- provide appropriate care
- CPR?
- deadly bleeding?
