• Open the hinged lid by unlocking the padlock
• Move the POWER/MANUAL switch to MANUAL
• The directional control lever to the required position and hold in position
• Pull the pump handle from its socket and insert the handle
• Pump the handle until the points are fully home and locked

After the points have been manually set

• move the pump. Handle to the vertical position and remove the handle.
• Leave the POWER/MANUAL switch in MANUAL position
• Close the hinged lid and secure with the padlock
• Apply the hand locking bar
