Describe the purpose of dual control point machines?
Enable the points to be operated either remotely by signaller or in case of failure by either a driver or competent employee acting under instructions of the signallers or train controller.

- unlock padlocks
- Switch the selector lever to hand
- pull hand throw lever to reverse and back to normal and then back to reverse again

Selector lever is the smallest and the hand throw lever is the biggest.

- remove padlock

- Flip over hand locking bar to rail
