Overcrowding
authoritarian practice

nursing home theft
What is the physician’s role in reporting abuse?
We are mandatory reporters, and must report to the DHS/DHI if suspected.
What is the best way to ask a patient/caregiver about abuse?
Separately
What is the difference between the DHS and the DIA?
DHS is for HOME abuse
DIA is for INSTITUTIONAL abuse

Caregiving only to exploit

Enjoys harming the patient
