Dermatological emergency-viral infection on top of existing eczema (eczema doesn’t have to be severe)

punched out lesions around the area, causing erosions, fever, swollen lymphnodes, erythema

always think of it whenever someone not responding to topical treatment

any sites but usual face and neck

IV acyclovir and if anywhere close to eyes –send to opthalmology

stop immunosupressors
Unclear if topical steroids should be given
