What is an example of a producer?
Green plants
Give an example of primary consumers
Herbivores e.g. rabbits, butterfly
Give an example of secondary consumers
Carnivores e.g. frogs, fish
Give an example of tertiary consumers?
Secondary Carnivores e.g. snakes, owls
How can feeding relationships be shown?
Food chains and food webs
How have predators adapted?
Predators are adapted to catching and consuming their prey. e.g. sharp claws, good eyes, sharp teeth
How have prey adapted?
Prey have adaptations to detect and prevent being eaten by predators. e.g. Camouflage, good eyes, good hearing
