Allows user to manage account such as transfers, checking statements
Advantages - Managing finances can be done wherever 24/7, total awareness of financial situation and can avoid overspending
Disadvantages - Hackers and malware can steal financial information, services not genuine if company based in is not governed properly
Features and implications of using education and training services
Able to research online and use methods to complete academic qualifications, professional qualifications and work based training
MOOCs are websites often run by universities that give free program of learning
Advantages - Have a wide range of courses to learn all kinds of skills, learn in their own time
Disadvantages - Many courses are accredited - worthless, learners would have to be self motivated and driven to complete work

What are the advantages
and disadvantages
Gives us real time information which allows person to keep up to date with current events
Has ease of availability due to the range of technology enabling people to access services to keep us up to date
Advantages - Easier to be informed and up to date with events, easier to plan events and trips as it’s easier to access travel information
Disadvantages - Fake news, news can be released before affected party can be informed by authorities
Features and implications of using entertainment and leisure services
What are the advantages and disadvantages
Video and music streaming allows access to film, tv shows and music
Online gaming allows people to play in different locations
Advantages - Huge variety of entertainment, access streams whenever a person wants. gaming allows people to play together around the world
Disadvantages - Children can access inappropriate content much easily, lives become distracted and dominated by these
Features and implications of using productivity services
Online productivity services allows tasks such as communicating, collaborating and working remotely
Cloud computing for example allows people to work software and storage remotely
Advantages - Employees can work more flexibly, at home, working collaboratively which increases productivity
Disadvantages - If there’s no internet then this could damage the productivity, work can increasingly creep into personal lives increases stress
Features and implications of using booking systems
Book all sorts of services such as holiday booking or cinema tickets
Advantages - Compare prices to save money, less administrative staff which also save business money, don’t need to travel to make a booking. 24/7 service
Disadvantages - Requires electronic payment which could lead to bank fraud, booking websites may not be legitimate

Business store data such as personal information, details of items purchased, prices, date/time of purchase and delivery times
Advantages - Business can keep track of all purchases and helps them to spot trends, customer and business can track delivery process , identify habits and interests in order to personalise marketing and advertising
Disadvantages - Data could get hacked , privacy. Some people aren’t comfortable

Advertise products the customer is likely to purchase product using transactional data
Where is this seen - Web pages are customised to display products to customers based on browsing history and profile information, social media sites use profile data to target ads
Disadvantages - Leads to impulse purchases that person cannot afford, privacy concerns as ads could lead to embarrassing situations
Collaborative working
What are the advantages and disadvantages
Multiple people can work together in real time over internet
Done by using services such as cloud computing and cloud storage
Advantages - Employees can work together in different locations, meetings can be held without wasting time or money
Disadvantages - Restrictions need to be in place to prevent person from overwriting each other. could be hacked, increased reliance on business internet connection and if that goes down its not good
