drinks:
0 = thin
1 = slightly thick
2 = mildly thick
3 = moderately thick (same as liquidised food)
4 = extremely thick (same as pureed food)
5 = minced and moist
6 = soft and bite sized
7 = easy to chew/regular

what is osteoporosis

what are the recommendations for adult calcium and vitD intake?
calcium: recommend adults to consume 1000-1200mg calcium/day to prevent osteoporosis
- do not exceed DRI because may cause constipation
- vitD: recommeded 400IU/d starting at age 50
