Anti-neoplastic: binds b-tubulin and prevents microtubule breakdown-> arrest in M phase
-> prevent restenosis after coronary stent- prevent intimal hyperplasia

SE: metabolic complications- lipodystrophy, dyslipidemia, insulin resistance
