Medical Escort to Hospital Emergency Room

    1. Counceling - Is the student violent toward themselves or others, any other concerns. Get ID Number and/or Name.
    2. Illness - What is the situation exactly? Symptoms: Fever, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Weakness, Chest Pains, Dizzy… Contact the Command Officer for Permission. They may want you to send Officers over for an Evaluation to see if an ambulance needs to be called instead.
    3. Injury - What is the situation exactly? Contact the Command Officer for Permission. They may want you to send Officers over for an Evaluation to see if an ambulance needs to be called instead.

  • Verify the Event
    1. Check to be sure on the Daily Sheet or Google Calendar to Verify Event
    2. Check the “Authorized Key Pickup” Book, Check Blackboard, S2 for Card Swipe Access or Door Override
    3. IF Nothing Found to Verify the event, do they have an Email Verifying it to show the Officer?
  • Call the Command Officer to get Permission. You will need to let them know you did Verify the information
  • Where are they Now?
  • Have they actually tried the door to see if it is Unlocked?
  • Where do they want to Meet the Officer?

Dorm Let-In

  • Verify Home Address & Birthday from Directory!
  • Do they need to be let into the Building or their Room?
    -If Building, Where is their Swipe Card?
    -If they Lost It, they need to come to MAC for a New Card
    -During the school year, try calling the Office to see if anyone is there. If not, call an RA to let them in. If during business hours, you may even want to call Housing.
  • Only if the above options are exhausted, should you send an Officer. Be sure you note in the call that you did try the above before sending an Officer.
    -Where are they Now?
    -Where do they want to Meet the Officer?
  • Be sure you state over teh Radio that you did try several other options
