Silence alarm on FireWorks
Call Fire:
* Hit the 2000 line and then the “Peoria PD” line
* This is (name) with Bradley University Police.
* I have a (____) alarm at (building, address, & room number/area).
* I have officers on the way.

Start CAD entry
Dispatch 2 Officers:
* Fire Alarm
* Address, Apt Number, Specific Location
* Inform them fire has been notified

Dispatch OE for that area
Acknowledge alarm on FireWorks
Notify officers and OE when the alarm has been reset

Be sure to enter engine number on scene

Question 2

Fire - Alarm Company

Answer 2

• Name & Number of Company
• Address, Apt Number, & Specific Location of Situation
• Has Fire been Notified?

Start a CAD entry
Dispatch 2 Officers:
* Fire Alarm
* Address, Apt Number, Specific Location
* Inform them Fire has been Notified

Be sure to enter the Engine Number on scene

Question 3

Fire - Other

Answer 3

• Name & Number of Caller
• Address/Apt Number of situation
• Does the Caller see Flames or Smell Smoke?
• Tell them to Evacuate everyone

Start a CAD entry
Call Fire:
* Hit the 2000 line and then the “Peoria PD” line
* This is (name) with Bradley University Police.
* Fire Alarm at (address)
* Any other Specific Information
* Told them to Evacuate
* I am Sending Officers

Dispatch 2 Officers:
* Fire Alarm
* Address, Apt Number, Specific Location
* Inform them Fire has been Notified and they have been informed to Evacuate

Smoke Detector Alarm

Answer 4

A local smoke detector alarm (battery operated or not wired into a building alarm system) where no smoke or fire is reported OR a false alarm is reported by someone other than an alarm company. May just need new batteries.

Dispatch 1 Officer:
* Local Smoke Detector Alarm/False Alarm
* Address, Apt Number, Specific Location
* Inform them of the Specific Information
* Tell them to Advise on needing Fire Called
