What causes secretory diarrhoea?
A
The secretion of salt ions in to the lumen which prevents water absorption
E.G cholera

What is hypermotility diarrhoea?
A
Changes in the intestinal motility which causes luminal contents to move too quickly, prevent water absorption

What causes osmotic diarrhoea?
A
Salts and ions in the lumen cannot be broken down so water fails to be absorbed due to osmolarity levels
