Delusional disorder somatic type - refers to delusion about way body functions -
Schizoaffective Disorder - psychotic symptoms for at least 2 weeks and then develops symptoms that meet criteria for depressive or manic episode
Delusional disorder - non-bizarre delusions for at least 1 month
MDD - 2 weeks
Persistent Depressive Disorder - 2 years
PTSD - symptoms 1 month
Acute Stress Disorder - 3 days to 1 month
ADHD - five symptoms of inattention,
6 symptoms hyperactivity,
presence of symptoms before 12 years of age
Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder can only be diagnosed in children age 6 to 17. It is childhood depression that is accompanied by temper outbursts.
cannot be diagnosed as co-occurring with ODD
Enuresis occurs at least twice a week for three months.
Infant developmental
6 months - pull up from sitting position
9 months - crawling,
9-12 mos - ability to drink from cup
12 - 18 mos - standing alone
Emotional abuse can be indicated by infantile behavior, self-criticism, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and suicidal thoughts.
Physical neglect can be indicated by stealing, begging or hoarding food, sleepiness, learned helplessness, regressive behavior, indiscriminate attachment, depression, loneliness, isolation, suicidal thoughts, and delinquency
Physical abuse can be characterized by apprehensiveness of adults, dependence, acting out, running away, substance abuse, and dull affect.
Sexual abuse can be indicated by sudden change in behavior, development of phobias, withdrawal into fantasy, inappropriate sexuality, promiscuity, running away, substance abuse, eating disorders, self-mutilation, and secretiveness.
