- case study= qualitative data
What are the weaknesses?

- many proposals in relation to age-development have been too rigid
- relies heavily on children= ethics

SIMILARITY:
•Both suggest experiences with adults have big effect on child (aggression of model/parents+psychosexual stages)
DIFFERENCE:
•B= matched groups
•F= longitudinal case study on 1 PP

SIMILARITY:
•Lab exp= low Eco validity but high control of extraneous variables
DIFFERENCE:
•S&B= nature: different ages, different conserve
•B= nurture: watching violence makes aggressive
What is a similarity and difference between S&B and Freud?
SIMILARITY:
•Both deal with stages of development
S&B= pre concrete
F= phallic
DIFFERENCE:
•S&B= very scientific and well controlled
•F= subjective to opinion
