What is corrected age?
An adjusted age calculated based on the childβs expected due date for developmental milestones.
How do you calculate corrected age?
Subtract the number of weeks of prematurity from the chronological age.
When is correction for prematurity no longer necessary?
After 2 years, as the difference becomes insignificant.
