For home visits:

You say, “1 Bravo(if I’m north) unit 1983(or whatever my radio # is) home contact for SBI #125(that’s hypothetical) at 228 Skyline Lake Drive, Ringwood. They’ll hit me back and I’ll confirm info. When I leave say 1 Bravo unit 1983, clear location.

So - 1 Bravo unit 1983 home contact for SBI #125 at 228 Skykine Lake Drive, Ringwood

For transports:

1 Bravo unit 1983 transport, SBI #125, to Passaic county Jail

You can either say unit and then radio # or from and then radio #

If a home visit takes more than 30 mins, the spb, shall notify the CCD operator that he/she is still at the given location. The CCD operator should also attempt to reach out to the SPB officer once the 30 minute threshold has passed

Bravo vs Alpha

We operate on a Bravo channel. DOC operates on an Alpha one.

You’ll know if you accidentally are on an Alpha channel, because you’ll hear nothing but transports or you’ll say something and they’ll tell you you’re on Alpha. Then just switch

The first thing we say every radio transmission is 1 Bravo; 2 Bravo or 3 Bravo. 1 is North, 2 is central and 3 is southern NJ

Clearing and using emergency button

To use emergency button just press it, it’s the orange button on the side. To clear it, go back on the radio and say 10/22 unit 2435 and that emergency button was hit in error
