Residential programs
Our two residentials look like a jail with wired fencing and getting patted down (not 100 on the pat down)
STEPS(stages to enhance parole success)- good for job readiness, academic assistance, money management, substance abuse counseling, relapse prevention. A little more behavior and employment focused. Stay is 90-180 days - kintock (newark), kintock(Bridgeton) delaney hall(newark); bo Robinson(Trenton)
RESAP(re entry substance abuse program) Is more addiction focused. 90-180 days(Camden, Trenton, newark all have one)
Community resource centers
Good for gang bangers. U go there in the day and it helps with triggers, relationships, leaving gangs. It can serve as a graduated sanction or provide step down services from residential. Length of stay is based on risk. Educational programs too
It’s a one size fits all
Non residential and it’s primarily good for people who can’t find work

PATH
Is for homeless male parolees and developing a housing plan for when they get out. It’s good for someone down and out but who may not need all of the structure of residential programs. It’s in New Brunswick and has only 20 🛏
PROMISE
Small program in Camden, there is a traditional and transitional housing component and it’s our program for mentally ill parolees
MAP
Medicaid pays it if not we pay through the funding we give to the MAP program
Mutual agreement plans. They are private, non profit, licensed residential substance abuse treatment programs located throughout the state
Helps with behavioral and psychological problems related to substance abuse. It’s highly intensive. Has cognitive behavioral therapy; family counseling; drug testing; individual and group counseling; peer interactions.
They have inpatient and outpatient
