Donepezil (Aricept)
Anti dementia drug

- slows the heart rate through its vagotonic effect
Tacrine (Cognex)
A centrally acting acetylcholinesterase inhibitor.
- used to treat mild to moderate dementia of Alzheimer’s disease.
- adverse side effect is hepatotoxicity
