Pathologist
The person that determines the risk of negative effects of certain chemicals or toxic substances on the physiological functions of human beings, animals, and the environment.
Toxicologist
A person who assists medical technologists, who did not pass the board with an average score of 70-74%.
Medical laboratory technician
Performs radioactive tests and procedures under the supervision of a nuclear medicine physician, who interprets the results
Nuclear Medical Technologist
Responsible for the routine preparation, processing, and staining of biopsies and tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist.
Histotechnologist
Specializes in cytology, which is the study of the formation, structure and function of cells.
Cytotechnologist
A person responsible for drawing blood from patients for laboratory tests, transfusions, or donation.
Phlebotomist
Section of RA 5527 that defined the medical technology profession and its practice.
