Q

If a creature with 100 HP takes 90 non-lethal damage and then takes 10 lethal damage, what happens?

A

They are unconscious and gain Dying as normal. Per rules as written, non-lethal and lethal damage are identical if they do not reduce the target to 0 HP.

Q

How may a character on 0 HP, Unconscious, and Dying recover using Hero Points?

A

By spending all Hero Points they are no longer dying but remain unconscious and on 0 HP. (In the original book they gain 1 HP but this was changed by streamed errata.)

17
Q

What happens if a creature is reduced to 0 HP while suffering Persistent Damage?

A

Per rules as written, the Persistent Damage does not stop. It will continue to cause damage, increasing the Dying value, every round.

18
Q

What happens if a creature is reduced to 0 HP while suffering multiple forms of Persistent Damage?

A

They take all of the damage, but their Dying value increases by only 1 because, per p621, triggers related to taking damage are only activated once by any number of persistent damage conditions.
