What is the data protection Act 2018.
A
The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Everyone responsible for using personal data has to follow strict rules called ‘data protection principles’. They must make sure the information is: used fairly, lawfully and transparently.

How do you use the data to inform the lender of risk?
A
Use the data to report risks that the lender/client needs to be aware of such as radon and mining. In some cases may request more information so that we can allow the client to know if it effects our valuation.
