describe the ventricles in a normal heart:
A
pulmonary artery sticks out from the right ventricle (sends blood to the lungs)
aortic artery sticks out from the left ventricle (sends oxygenated blood to the body)

Pulmonary artery now sticks out from the left ventricle (sends deoxygenated blood to the body)
aortic artery now sticks out form the right ventricle (keeps circulating oxygen rich blood back into the heart)

usually cyanotic at birth
