- Hypertension
- Chronic HF
- Ischaemic heart disease
- Diabetic nephropathy ans CKD: reduce proteinurea and progression of nephropathy

What is the mechanism of action of ACEs?
A
- Blocks formation of angio II
- Results in prevention of AT1 receptor stimulation
- Decreased Aldosterone secretion and vasodilation
- Reduce sympathetic activity

What are the adverse effects of ACEs?
A
- Dry cough (presence of Bradykinin
- Hypotension
- Hyperkalaemia
- Angioedema
- Urticaria, rashes
- GI upset

Warnings?
A
- Avoid in renal artery stenoisi
- AKI
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women
- . CKD (lower doses)
