How does it effect it?

A

Peers - following their opinion (peer pressure)
Family - following opinion, their support for you in the sport and a family role model
Gender - sports have a stereotype towards a sport and the gender of the participant
Ethnicity - cultures and religions forbid some sports (Islamic women cannot play mixed gender sports)

GCSE - first step of academic pathway, short course with 50% practical and 40% theory
GCE/A level - the progression from GCSE, a two year course with theory and practical
