What happens if the SCCM falls ill during flight?
Assuming no other qualified Cabin manager, the next most senior CC will take over
To continue series of flights the CC member taking over must have 12 months experience and at least 20 sectors on type
Can you board with reduced CC?
Yes but must have one member of flight deck and Cabin manager present & can only board 50 pax per member of CC.

Interrupt their duty, stow away an equipment, return to station and fasten harness
What will cabin crew do upon hearing “SCCM TO THE FD”, “SCCM TO INTERPHONE” or 3 chimes?
SCCM will report to inter phone or FD without delay, other CC will put things away and await instruction
