What happened during the 1st crusade?
Pope Urban contacted Emperor Alexsis and they teamed up and took 5000 crusaders to Jerusalem. The peasants failed and attacked the Jews, the Knights won it for the Christians. But the Muslims took it back 50 years later

What happened during the 3rd crusade?
The rulers of England, France, and the Holy Roman Empire wanted to team up, but all either died or left except for King Richard who respected Saladin and made a treaty.

What happened during the fourth crusade?
The crusaders were going to sail into the Holy Land, but didn’t have enough money for ships. So they contacted Venice who said they would give them ships in exchange of Zara, which was Christian territory. The Knights killed everyone there and took it for Venice. Venice then told them that they couldn’t have any ships and the Knights were excommunicated by the pope.

30,000 kids followed Stephan who was all of 12 to the Mediterranean. Stephan had told them that through their faith in God, the sea would part for them. When it didn’t, they boarded 7 boats, 5 of which sank and the others were captured by pirates.
