Explain S1 (1) Criminal Damage Act 1971
Any person who, without lawful excuse, destroys or damages property belonging to another, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether any such property would be destroyed or damaged shall be guilty of the offence
Explain S1 (2) of the Criminal Damage Act 1971
Without lawful excuse, destroys or damages any property whether belonging to himself or another, intending to destroy/damage any property or being reckless as to whether property would be destroyed or damaged, and intending by the destruction/damage to endanger life of another or being reckless as to whether the life of another would thereby be endangered
What are the four categories that property can be damaged
Intentionally
Recklessly
Carelessly
Accidentally

Arson (when damage is caused by fire)
Describe S2 Criminal Damage Act 1971
Making threats to cause damage/endanger life:
> destroys/damages another property
> destroys/damages their own property or another property that would endanger life

Possession of item/s with intent to destroy/damage property or endanger life
